Save the date — our biggest cultural celebration of the year returns to Queens Domain.
Planning is underway for the 2027 Sri Lankan New Year Festival, and this year we're going bigger than ever.
The festival brings together the Sri Lankan community and the wider Hobart public for a day of traditional games, cultural performances, authentic food and live music.
It's a celebration of heritage and belonging — and a wonderful way to introduce new friends to Sri Lankan culture.
We'll be calling for volunteers, performers and food stalls in the coming months. If you'd like to get involved, get in touch with the club.
